Sang Kelembai depicts the imaginations and fantasies of a mythical creature and believed to have lived in a forest in Malaysia. This work features Sang Kelembai as a lonely, uncertain, aimless and sorrowful figure representing the pains and struggles of being avoided and feared by everyone. The piece moves through different stages of dealing with moaning and cursing her fate and overcoming challenges in its exploration of life and survival.

It calls up the atmosphere of ambiguity that generally built with hybrid and quartal chord voicings. This is to emphasis and generate blurred effects throughout the harmonic movement, which mostly built with voicing in fourths and a bit of modal harmony either by arpeggiations or chord voicing. With a moderately fast opening, this piece soon thickens, building into the rhythmic, a brief dance-like section that closes this piece.
